Here's another cool thing that's part of the Super Themes package from FrontLook. When you want to add a new page to your web, if you click the dropdown button for a new page in FrontPage, you have an option for "New Super Theme page" which brings you to this box:
Note how you can name the file, give the page a title, select the name you want on the navigation button, and place the page in your navigation right from the get-go. No need to mess around in the page properties or that not-so-user-friendly FP navigation .. this addin does it all for you, easily. And, just look at all the other stuff FrontLook adds to FrontPage's Insert menu. What a smorgasbord of goodies!:
And, I hope you can appreciate the quality of the screenshots above. FrontLook's standalone program, called Screen Capture, did these and I've reviewed that separately here. It's actually one of my favorite FrontLook goodies. Obviously, I'm pretty impressed with FrontLook. Oh, and by the way, I tried all of the FrontLook addins in FrontPage 2003, just so I can tell you that they seem to work in all versions of FrontPage. Clicking the NEXT button will show a couple samples of FrontLook's splash pages. There are lots of them and you can customize them any way you want. I chose two seasonal pages, since they seem appropriate for this time of year, but there are many that are more relevant to websites. Enjoy!! | |||||||||||||
