• Let's say you have a few important people in your contact list whose mail you would like to shine out within your inbox or even within a specific folder. Let's look at Outlook 2000's Organizer: Click on a piece of mail in your inbox (or in a specific folder) and go to the toolbar at the top and click on the Organize button (or go to the Tools menu and select "Organize"). A window will open at the top of your inbox and you will see a link on the left which says "Using Colors"....click on this. Choose whether you want to color the messages "from" or "to" this person or group, choose your color, and hit the "Apply Color". I advise you to use this feature sparingly as too many colors are as confusing as none. <<<<<<back to Outlook |
